Description

Abell 79 (PK102.9-2.3) is a rarely imaged planetary nebula, located 4000 light years away in Lacerta. Abell79 is small, measuring 1.0 arc minutes and has a magnitude listed at 15.3. However, it shows well on the RGB image.
